30.08.2010 - Austrian BIOCRATES Life Sciences AG, a prime developer of metabolite biomarkers, and Swiss Selexis SA, a leading biotech company designing high-performance and stable mammalian cell lines for the production of protein drugs, have entered into a co-development agreement with a view to further increasing the drug substance yields from mammalian cell cultures for the pharmaceutical industry. Under the agreement, both parties will combine their knowledge to help lower overall manufacturing costs for pharmacologically active proteins.

German Research Team Elucidates Genetic Variations in Human Metabolism

A group of German scientists have developed a strategy to assess the genetic basis of variations in human metabolism by coupling genetic and metabolic profiling.
