The AbsoluteIDQ p150 Kit, the first—and so far only—mass spectrometry-based metabolomics kit, is a research assay identifying and quantifying more than 160 metabolites from 4 compound classes, i.e., amino acids, acyl carnitines, glycerophospho- and sphingolipids, and hexose. Metabolites from both clinical and preclinical plasma samples can be measured in just a few minutes per sample, requiring sample volumes as small as 10 µL.
